Today was a blast. I'm over at 13BRx3's place along with Speed_NYC and Rotorholic. Congrats to TurboTommy for running his first 9 sec pass. As Ernie mentioned in the other thread he ran a 9.75@149MPH with a mid 1.5 60ft time. Congrats Tommy! We had a forum get-together at Enzo's pit tonight and had some great steak.
Today was packed, all the results can be seen at the GRS Motorsports website. Lotta fast cars today, the bump was 7.7 or around there. A couple of strange things at this year's Pan Am's.
If you came after 12 noon today, you are not racing. We tried to buy a race ticket when we got there and all were sold. They will not be selling any race tickets for Sunday either. At every other Pan Am event, you were allowed to race on Sunday but not this one. Also, we were asked to leave the track at 11pm. Normally Sat night for Pan Ams you could hang out late.
We had a good time today, congrats again to Tommy on his 9.7 sec pass!!

Unfortunately i had to many cars to get ready for this race that my own car was pushed to the side... It's back from the body shop and the paint looks mint... I should hopefully be firing it up this weekend... "crossing fingers"....

It was nice meeting everyone and for those I didn't meet, well there's always next year :-)
Pan American Nationals 2009 was an "eye opener" for me and in some ways it changed my thinking a bit. I'm still recuperating from 4 days of running around in the sun, so it'll be a few days till I upload my photos.
Congrats to the guys at Goopy seals on their success.. Little Jowin were using their seals all weekend.
