Nhra Sport Compact Finals @ Pomona
What type of setup are running in your RX7? Do you have any pictures of under the hood? I heard rumors that your car was on a serious weight loss plan. Show us your handy work.
You don't really have to show us, but inquiring minds want to know. Me especially.
Thanks
Albert

P-Project is still ongoing, but not dead
Yes I remember you from a while back. Some progress, but busy with work and family life. Starting a family is much more demanding than I expected. Racing still lives in my blood just not as important as it was before. The cost of living here in California is insane.
I made some new housings much different from the pictures I sent you a while back. I know everyone says bigger is not better, but I am not a firm believer of that concept yet.
How is your P-Port project going?
Thanks
Albert
As far as I am concerned the concept of having a web site is great, but if you don't have time for your own projects it does not make sense for me to try and market myself. I love working on Rotaries, but trying to make a living from it here in California is straight out rough. Too many shops willing to cut/slash prices to the point it is not worth my time.
So you are absolutely correct about my web site, and I won't deny it.

the car went on a serious diet
1775 lbs + my fat *** weighs in @ 275lbs 2050lbs and still have room to play
as for the powerplant that came off the car it was a 1974 13b block and asembly with racing beat one piece apex seals + bridgeported
this was a frankenstein motor and idea that mac aka 13bnos had brewing in his head
that worked so good and made so much power it was unreal , the down fall to the motor was the one piece racing beat apex seals that i had from a previous build and the same 74 asembly that had oe bearings on it ,besides that everything else was groovy
the combination of great porting and power that where achived from this motor was incredible

at 9000 rpm, torque was 190 ft/lbs at ca 8000 rpm. That was a rallycross motor with a Weber 51 IDA 44mm venturis in PP intake, 2000mm long primaries and a MSD 6AL ignition. Latest project is a 13B "extended" PP port engine with Ianetti ceramic seals, Gene Berg 54mm Efitec distriburless ignition and short primaries. Hope to have it dyno tested in late November. Unfortanately Mickes and mine RX-4 drag car was not completed this year either, but we work on it sometimes.
