You're around too many damm fast supras!
Very good guess on the turbo. You just about nailed it. Very close indeed.

Yes it is highly modified using a single ...mm throttle body.
It's pretty much the same appearing as Mike Lowe's intake.
Pica is just about the only one using a factory type intake manifold. Just about everyone else is using a variant of what I posted before.

Boris Rojas pick up runs a 13b p-port turbo set-up build by Kilo and tuned by Rolo from "CFT". All of the pr cars that where racing at e-town except "La atrevida" run a microtech ecu. La atrevida is the only one running a Sakura fuel management system. Good news Pica is already on its way to cali fo rthe last race of the season to try to win the championship. Good luck to them and i hope they bring a championship with them and for the rotarys,

I wish all the rotary guys the best at the event in Pomona. I know Jorge Lazcano(Pica team) and Dee will definately be going, I also hope that some of the rest of PR rotary cars make it as well as Ken too.

Thanks for the engine shots RX794.....perfect. That's what i like to see! You get to see what the big boys are running.

It looks as though Pica's running a GT4780 or larger. NICE!! I tried to fit one on my car but we couldn't do it without cutting or moving a bunch of stuff. He doesn't have the water neck which helps a bunch in the space department.
Thanks, but I didn't take the pics, "ye one who boosts and seven" did, I'm just responsible for posting them.

What in the hell kind of ignition are they running? I see at least 2 different "types" of coils on that engine, one coil looks like it runs to another one??????

maybe since the leading coils are a 2 pole design they probably grounded the other terminal so in reality only 3 of the 6 terminals of the leading coils are being used on the engine...the trailing side looks like its connected to bosch coils...am i correct?

It looks as if one of the MSD-10 leads is going straight to a pro power coil!

They are using the MSD 10 ignition system on the leadings. It's stacker system where two coils are used for some serious fire power. So basically it's two coils for every leading spark plug.
The newer 'MSD 10 Plus' ignition only use one coil though.

Yeah those turbos are the everyday norm around the shop. We've always got a few sitting around at all times. If they aren't going on a car or a backup we're doing the anti-surge delete on them. I just remembered exactly how it looked on my car and that looks identical.

We've got a couple big boys sitting around right now waiting for new homes....55-91's anyone?? They are so freakin massive!! I should put one on my car just to take a picture to show the size difference.

You guys might be interested in how excited some of the people over at Honda-tech are about what happened in the Modified class at this event.

AS A SIDE NOTE!!---->
It was brought to my attention that neither Paul or Justin requested any tech checks, the NHRA did this for their own reason, so ignore that and just check out how excited everyone is about the direction that the Modified class is going. Here's the thread that you guys should check out(Thanks to AnthonyNYC for showing this to me):

quick comment...the PR cars do add life to any event and they are the highlight of modify class, so why dont the NHRA step in and try to find these cars some major sponsers...pro RWD class is dieing out because the cost to build/run one of those cars are just crazy and sponsers dont have that kind of $$ to put out...NHRA themselves may benefit from the PR cars attending every race because the stand might be pack with spectators, all coming to see the most exciting class at the event...what do u guys think?

check out http://dragueo.tv/home/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=49 for more photos...
BTW does anyone know the story on Chato Ibarra's FD? the thing looks mini tubbed from the previous photos i've seen over the years and its absolutely beautiful...it has a "sport RWD" look to it but the mini tubbs will exempt it from that class...if its indeed tubbed then the only class for it to compete in will be modify..so whats the deal with it, is it ever going to race or will it be a show car?
