Btw what color pearl did you go with? I put a gold pearl on my yellow Mustang that looks AMAZING in the sun!

Thanks! The CYM paint is a 3 stage paint from the factory so it already has pearl in it. They just added more. As for the exact color, i don't know. Just got back from DGRR, im beat!

the pearl is a midcoat ( effect ) and is part of the CYM paint code.
The person spraying the paint can control how heavy they want the midcoat/effect to be, lighter and it will appear more true yellow, heavier and it will give the car a heavier pearl or effect.
Looks good, I was commenting how the paint on the old parts looked pretty good im sure the new paint is even better.

Car looks great Ernie. Couple questions:
1. I remember seeing that you were planning a PP motor for 2010. Did that ever end up happening?
2. I seem to remember you had a stainless steel hot side for your current 42R. Is my memory correct, and if so, will that fit (or are you going to get one for) your net GTXR?

David was nice enough to actually let me take it out for a spin by myself! And I would only do a 3 rotor in a street car. For racing the 2 rotor is faster and better. I was playing with the idea of getting a roller and doing a 20b in that.

I do remember you saying that the 2 rotor is faster and better than the 3 rotor for racing, however, why would you choose to do a 3 rotor swap on a roller and not your CYM? So you could continue to enjoy turbo rotary power while it was being completed?
Also, pic on the first page, plumbing truck behind your FD....someone make some wicked chili and plug all of the plumbing? :-D
BTW, did you drive your FD all the way to DGRR or did you trailer it?

David is a great guy. I was absolutely shocked that he allowed me behind the wheel (24 years old, had just met him that day). What'd you think of his setup?

Like I told you Paps, the only reason your car and Ernies look so good is that all the pollen just blended in. LOL! 2 great looking CYM's. Nice to meet everyone at the Gap. I'm still trying to get the pollen off my car!
