It made it to the St Croix Port, it was stripped while he was waiting for it to clear customs. Wheels, turbo and misc stuff were stripped.

Please keep an eye out.

Most certainly. His forum name is REDBULLSTX.

I just don't understand how something like this can happen at a federal port.

Agreed, seems like there would be some kind of security there Sadly the party resposible for this is probably employees or somebody that knew it was going to be there... Honestly what are the chances of somebody randomly going to the port to see if there was going to be something there worth taking, and this car just so happend to be there.

it was deinately someone that works for the shipping company. it amazes me that this can happen in the port. but i assure you i am brewing up one hell of a shitstorm. this is more of an issue for homeland security than just a simple robbery. i am dealing with the government agencies ie: port authority, customs, TSA etc etc.......... this has been an ongoing thing on the port for quite sometime and i am completely committed to making sure nothing like this is ever allowed to happen again. however unlikely it is, if anyone see's the turbo or the wheels you can always hit me up on here. this is a link to the post on our local car forum, with all the information since the beginning. http://streetseen.vi/forums/showthread.php?t=3413

latest update. the shipping company Crowley shipping says they are only liable for $500.00......... so its gonna have to be fought out in court. it may be years before i see a dollar but someone is going to have to pay. In the meantime i have been buying back the parts out of pocket. the tires showed up today, the wheels should be here thursday, and the turbo should be here next week. Hopefully it should be back running within the next month. I will keep you guys updated on the progress and i do thank you guys sincerely for the concern. Rotary4life.................

Well it has been a while so i figured i would give an update. Shipping company finally paid me after a year in court. What a pain in the ***... Anyways, i have had really bad luck with this car. Had a stuck corner seal so i had to pull the motor. Nothing was damaged so i just put new seals and took the port out a little bigger. Put it back together and it been running great.

Then comes my wiring disaster over some unplugged tail lights. Decided to do away with the e6k for a ps1000. Painstakingly rewired the whole car. Now it looks like the injector drivers took a dump.

Its been one thing after the next. But i have basically rebuilt everything on the car so i know it was done right. And if not, i only have myself to blame ok so now for a few pics. My 1st gen was stripped before it got to the new owner! Keep an eye out if you can.-p1010667-medium-.jpg

Ground clearance was a big issue before so i decided to make the whole thing from scratch. There are only 2 places that it can be seen under the frame rail. I also wanted the benefits of the 5" downpipe without it always being obnoxiously loud. So i have the 5" cutout that when closed, go's back to a full 2.5" exhaust to the tailpipe. So it can be quiet on the drive to the track, and as loud as it wants at the track.
