microtech 2 step feature.

Is it true the microtech comes only with a fuel cut 2 step feature and not an ignition cut? Can I still use fuel cut for a 2 step or would it be advised to go with something else like an msd 2step and a relay setup to my trailing coils? This sux cause I just had the ecu sent to australia for a 4bar map sensor and didn't know about the 2 step problem until it was midway back from them.

interesting. Thanks for the link. I'm going to ask around to see if the fuel cut is ok for a 2step with rotaries or if I should just get an msd 2step.

The two-step on the Microtech is ignition retard, not cut. And you can enrich the fuel as well.

You've got to 'tune' the two-step to get it how you want it.

Thanks, I was talking to someone on the forum and thats basically what they said as well. I'm going to set everything up (switch, wiring etc...) and then when I go get the car tuned will ask him to set that up as well.
