Gaby told me yesterday he changed the shocks in ML and was settting the chassis his way, because the car has been suffering with traction problems for a long time. The motor is rock solid & it's a lot more reliable than a factory 20b, so it's just a matter of getting the power down to the ground. The good news is, he's not breaking motors left & right. Gaby's red full chassis Mazda pickup truck had the same motor as ML, but the truck was sold recently & the new owner is now running a 2jz. The short crank motor & tripplets are now going into Sammy Promotions newly purchased full chassis FD, things should get interesting in '09

Wow and wow again! Just can't get enough of those PR Race Rotary Cars!! We here in Scandinavia have a lot to learn "lol" Do you know who's the fastest rotary on 10.5" max 33" slicks in PR? Just curious becausse in Sweden there maybe be 2 more 10.5" classes next year.

YANKEE just ran a 7.14@191MPH,the boys are getting ready for the import revolution event at CAROLINA SPEEDWAY.

 

Well he went 2.99 in the 330 on Wednesday, so maybe we might see a 7.0 in a few.... if all goes according to plan

I was talking to Ken Scheepers and some of his crew yesterday here in Dallas at Ennis dragstrip. They are flying out to P.R. on friday. He is suppose to have a match race with the "Men in Black" Datsun sometime next week. His RX8 is in P.R. in the shipping container.
