Question Looking For A 3RD Member 9inch Housing

Looking for a Ford f-100 or old school big 9inch 3rd member that has the notch on the pinion carrier/housing, so that way the ring does not have clearance issues.

Already looked in the yard there are none down here, anybody got one lying around willing to part with, give away, or sale.

Thanks Teddy

44 views and nobody wants to chime and help me out with some thoughts or suggestions.

I grind-ed down the pinion carrier/housing just enough for clearance for the ring to spin and adjust freely. Pressed the rest of the bearings and put it together.

But thoughts and ideas would still be nice.

thanks

I got it all put together, and adjusted the depth, bout to load it into my rear end. I already checked the yards there is nothing down here, I' am not the only one looking for the old for 9 3rd member housings, which sucks because the 3 vehicles that had the specific 3rd member housings were taken .

I think I' am good though, waiting for my axles to get here, and I' am having my rear brake lines done as we speak for free
