http://grs-motorsports.com/noticias/abril/kako/kako.wmv

Kako Racing Datsun forum P.R will be attending the Nopi event at ATCO!
best e.t in the 7.20's in the high 180 range! Car left P.R @ 11:30 p.m should be in CT. @ around 2 a.m

It's pretty funny to see this low 7sec car coming out of a garage, gotta love it!

Freight wouldn't cost much for this car, it only weights about 5 pounds with all that carbon fiber I just saw in that video

rotaryboy.....great insight....it is pure dedication

Job 1:21
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.

As [a man] comes naked from his mother's womb, so will he return as he came. He will take nothing from the fruit of his labor that he can carry in his hand... So what is the advantage to him who toils for the wind? (Ecclesiastes 5:15-16

Yeah, I hear you. It must be nice. It's just shocking seeing people loading up their cars on airliners to go race.

that Datto is clean

^ Alot of guys are saving it for Etown which is only a few days away.. Its a bigger event with a much better track. The left lane at Atco was just scary this weekend which kept the clutch tuners busy plus the track was simply very cold.. There's no need to chance it on a cold track, being 1000's of miles away from major replacement parts , 1 week before the big event...Im sure Kako didn't air lift that sucker out here for nothing, so they gonna have her ripping at Etown..

^^
That has nothing to do with why kako din't run man. There are rumors going around about the cause y kako did not run. It's being said that there where no NHRA inspectors in the event. with no inspectors being there meant kako couldnt be inspected to be certified.Really wierd because in moroso there were about 3 Nhra inspectors inspecting cars

pure speculation on my part, but my comment wasn't directed spacifically to the datto. Generally speaking, the track lacked alot of the usual NE racers and my guess is that everyone is holding off till this weekend.. So NDRA held an event with no tech guys to inspect, that blows man..

This is 100% correct. The NHRA inspector that was supposed to head over to Atco was Bob Nixon. He was certifying my cage at the time. This was Saturday around 7pm (it passed). While he was with me, I had him certify 2 of my friends cages as well. He mentioned to me that NHRA tried their best to get him down to Atco but he was just too busy with the local stuff and I booked him weeks in advance. He had appts with about 30 local guys and did not cancel to head over to Atco since most made their appts well in advance. If I knew it was that car, I would have tried to help.

Not really, there are very few events where there is chassis guy there to certify cages. It's really up to the driver to make the necessary arrangements before hand, if they did, someone would have been at the track to certify the cage.

These guys get paid by each cage they certify. If they went to Atco and had no cages to certify, they would not get paid and waste a day.

These chassis inspectors in the NE are really nice guys. I could not get a hold of Bob Nixon and called another guy, he returned my call the same day. He spent time on the phone with me explaining what they look for an just talking about the chassis/license procedure. He then contacted Bob who called me a day later and made the appt. While I'm talking to them I can hear their kids in the background.
