I made it into the 10s! *vids*

I went to the local strip on Friday night to make some passes and hang out. My first pass I cut my best 60' ever with a 1.59, and it felt damn good too. Unfortunately i missed 3rd on that run, but still managed a 11.25, so i was pretty sure i could pull out a 10 during the night with a clean run.

My second pass was a very clean run, not as great of 60', but i banged the gears as you can hear in the second vid.My boost gauge was only showing around 18 psi, but i think if i were to have logged the run, the MAP on the Haltech would have shown more. I think its time for a new boost gauge.

Here is the slip:
60' - 1.647
330' - 4.624
1/8 - 7.087
mph - 101.13
1000' - 9.165
1/4 - 10.922
mph - 128.49

The first vid shows the time really well and follows me down the track, the second vid shows the launch and the first 1/2 of the track but gets fuzzy after that.

BTW, the Lightning i was racing is a good friend of mine, the one in the vid is his tow truck and has gone low 11s but he spun on this race and ended with an 11.8. He also has another red lightning that has gone low 9s and is completely street legal very cool turbo trucks.

Thanks guys. I had a pretty good group of friends cheering me on. I was running 13 psi in the tires. After that pass, they told me i had to have a roll bar if i wanted to run anymore.

Yes, ET Streets on stock FD wheels. My drivetrain consists of an ACT 6 puck clutch, stock tranny, Kaaz Diff, and Driveshaft shop 300M axles. No boost at the line, just launching around 7000-7500 rpms.

congrats on your 10's pass!!! The car sounded very good going down the track. I'm assuming that this was done on pump gas?
