You are such a **** disturber!

Car looks great Doc, I'm sure you'll be glad you didn't sell it. Every time I see a nicely prepped RX-3, I want one sooo bad.

Progress is slow but it is in a forward motion and maintaining a steady course. I just stay at it. Makin headers and sorting out carbs right now. We dont have a lot of room for a header, so itll have to be short and the exhuast itself will be rather short as well. Kinda makes me nervous because everything I read on here is people talking about super long primaries and these ridiculous multi mufflered setups that I simply dont have room for. I cant fit the pipes under the car so they are going to be coming out about 12 inches behind the front tire.

Yeah, where is my little buddy? I miss him.

Doc, just go with a single 3" exhaust back to a single high flow muffler. That's all you need. You will have to play with lengths though as each motor will be different. Those guys putting multiple mufflers/resonators are a bunch of babies that can't handle a little noise and are losing power because of it. Trust me.

Ya so far its lookin like itll be 21 inch primaries, 2.25 inch tubes. IDK, seemed easiest, since the holes in the RB flange are 2.25 inch. The exhaust just dumps under the car, kinda pointing out the side, and hopefully I dont set myself on fire. lol. Im looking to get a Holley 750 DP. I still need a 3rd member, 3.250 bearing for the big axles (35 spline). What do you guys think?

Your going to want to have a single pipe from the header to a muffler. I would start with 3" diameter. This length you will have to play with but you need it. If you just use the header with nothing connected you will lose alot power. Start with a longer pipe and go from there.

Is there any reason you don't want to run a Weber? They are so much easier to tune.

Well all I wanted was a 9 sec nitrous car that might hit 8's after I went clutchless one day. But then my chassis guy found out that the alky/turbo cars go 7's and he started pushing at me to go that route one day. He says that the nitrous combo will be a "starter" combo. In an effort to persuade me, he cut a bunch of **** out and changed the config to cert the car down to 7.50. I came in one day and was surprised as hell to see it all. Now I feel obligated lol, no pressure right?

Ahhh Snap! Look out Allen, Doc Holiday is coming for you! " I'll be your huckelberry".

Hopefully one day before I die, Allen or Doc will run their cars down the track.

Looks good Doc.

BTW where's my buddy Little Hemroid?
