OR how much hp before "liftoff" ???

Just was wondering what the most power people have been able to put down before the front end really starts coming off the ground on the launch ? my plan for now is just a full pineapple racing 13b bridgeport and 4.88 gears with a helical gear style lsd in a 1gn, using gsl se suspension stuff... im pretty sure i wont have to worry to much cause im going to be starting out on my street tires (195/60r14 with 280 treadwear) then going to the BABY slicks i have (20x6x14) not sure of the treadwear... anyone have any experience here ?

I've seen wheelies from "low" power cars... Power isn't always the deciding factor, the track, tires, suspension, weight and launch RPM have more to do with it.

Here's a vid of my RX2 with a 12abp N/A getting the wheels up pretty high.
It all depends on the weight of the car, gearing, tires, rearend, suspension. Like mentioned above, you don't need alot of horsepower as seen in my car. I'm making under 250hp.
