I wish IDRC was still alive and kickin. They were the real sanctioning body that had decent payouts and fair rules!

 

I remeber but i was very young dam i love that r100. crispeed thank's that made my day

 

i see my 12a turbo kickin some butt and gettin its butt kicked by millen.. still good times tho. and let me tell ya, i do remember the payouts, i would get up to $2,500 on the first place payouts and that was street class

 

I was watching this thinking..... why can't they have coverage like this nowadays! What I mean by that is coverage that strictly has to do with the drag racing portion of the events instead of stupid show cars and the silly music and DJs games, etc.

Nopi was here in St.Louis this weekend, but it was DRIFT only. No drag racing, what in the same hell is up with that ?

 

You know why, its for all the special kids!
Any kid with a fart can for a muffler and a window banner has a show car.

And you can drift in any parking lot.

I like **** and i like music but not when im racing!

But to be honest it cost the pro racers a ton of money and time to race, but the sponsership just isn't there and the stands were getting empty. Also going from the east coast to the west cost was a nightmare and very expensive.

I still miss it every year!
