Finally Racing
I've been building/bouncing my 7 around a few garages/shops for the last couple of years and it's finally done! I'm racing it this Saturday in Hattiesburg, MS! It's a pretty basic set up for now, as I am on a college budget. But here is what it is so far...
- Aggressive street port from David at Rotary Rebuild Store in TN
- Non-seq stock turbos at 15psi
- All bolt ons
- 850/1680 injectors with a Walbro 255 pump
- TII diff with a PFS cradle
- PFC tuned by Fighter's Garage
- 26x11.5 MT ET Streets, spares up front
- ACT street/strip clutch
- Stock shocks with springs for now
I'm looking for high 11's in the 1/4.
Will have pictures and video!

Marc brought an ignition set up to use, but it wasn't cooperative at all....Like, none. The car wouldn't hold idle or rev past 5k.
Put stock back on and had break up really bad. I'll try again soon and let everyone know.

Okay, so I installed the Twin Power and took it racing. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the car. With a 1.84 60ft, it went a blistering 13.2x @ 104. The best trap speed all night was 108. My AFRs are pretty jacked up and I'm not sure why, but it was consistently 9.5-9.9. Stupid rich. To top off the good time, there was still a little break up on the big end and the car would die on deceleration. Could this be from being SO rich?
Any thoughts/suggestions on diagnosis and/or fixing it? Will the tune, although it is way off, kill the car that much?
Thanks for your help!

Sorry guys for never posting the maps, I just went for a retune. It was free, as I wasn't pleased with the first one. It still has plenty in it, indicated by the low mph BUT it did okay tonight. 1.72 60ft, 12.44 ET, 110 MPH.

pushing s##t up hill
good stuff on getting it down to low 12s, and yeh being that rich without running a dedicated cdi setup it will always break down, but good to see your going in the right direction now
