I has been told not to mount my engine torque dumper at the intake manifold, but dont it suppose to be there? Is it safe to mount it there ?

 

The ones I've seen mounted there was a shock dampener not solid. If your not running solid motor and trans mounts, that set up you have there is taking all the torque/ movement of the motor. Even with solid mounts I have my solid torque brace to the top of the trans.

 

Will this long term cause crack at intake manifold
