I say it depends on the setup of the car.
As for the thread starters car, start logging some 60' times. I always right down what I did on that launch on the back of the slip. Change one variable at a time, so you can see what makes an improvement and what doesn't. Your basic variables are going to be, rpms, tire psi, and clutch engagement technique. There are so many ways to get the car moving. With my old setup, which was in street trim (18's, FK452's), I had the most success with lifting the clutch pedal until right before engagement, revving to about 7000, then slipping the clutch (as to not cause wheelhop) and part throttle until full engagement. This street setup should be more similar to yours than say a slicks, 500+ hp setup, but this might be all moot since it sounds like you might have a stock clutch.
