cracked center on spark plugs.....uh-oh

So I pull my race plugs out today to clean them before I leave out in the morning for IFO in Montgomery.. I notice a small crack on 2 of the 4 plugs. I know this is a sign of either detenation or water present.. Car takes no water... Car has not had any issues and I am wondering if this could have been done will it was getting tuned rather than after meaning I have another issues? The tuner (PFS) said before he did not run any crazy timing and felt more could be added... I have not been able to reach him to discuss this.. All runs have been made on q16 an 11's for plugs..

It is not uncommon to develop small cracks on the racing plugs. What plugs were they exactly?

Man thats very nice to here as the car is loaded on the trailer and I hit the road in 7 hours! I have the $37 NGK ones from rx7.com. (heat range 11's) I have a new spare set and some old 10.5's that I cleaned up. Hope to get a few good passes in and finally get on the big list.
I may pull out some timing to be safe,,

I wouldn't worry about pulling timing out. I have seen several sets pulled from perfect motors that had between 2-4 cracks on each plug. Screw a new set in and go have some fun!!!!

so 2 have hair line cracks, just one on each plug. One crack doesnt make it all the way out. Should these go in the garbage?
