the second pic are the parts from guru racing/ extreme rotaries , the plates and rotors are avail. you have to send a email for the price, the parts are listed on their website.
Now to patiently await the "mature" response on this website ........

beefcake 10-11-11 09:50 AM

there is a link for the side plates
http://www.xtremerotaries.co/engines...ide-plates.htm

and the billet block is in testing still, nothing of note yet

bigdv519 10-11-11 10:37 AM

I will take two.

The company that made those side, rotor housing and rotors is not Xtreame Rotaries/ GURU
But Billet INC.
Here is there website http://www.throttlebodies.net.au.. But Under construction.

At the same time the design of the Xtreame Rotaries billet plates are totally different in design from Billet INC.

Hope this shed some light.

None the less, will be nice to get some data on a all billet rotary :)...

ArmyOfOne 10-18-11 09:11 AM

I would take a center iron with a 2 piece e- shaft. That would suffice.

mazda did, the 16X is an aluminum block but still retains the steel rotors.

i'm more curious how the wear is on the aluminum apex grooves, side seal, corner seal and end plates. no point IMO if they only last a few seasons before you have to pitch half the motor.

beefcake 11-28-11 05:06 PM

ebay is your friend :icon_tup:

WoW!!!!!!!! Real after market engine parts!!! This could be a HUGE game changer!!!! When defending rotary reliability I always find myself explaining how close to stock engines make HUGE power. With piston engines you can upgrade all the major parts. I hope the same will soon be true for rotaries as well
