I have been doing some research on nitto 555r drag radials, about the pros and cons, launching etc... But still haven't found any good 60ft times. I know plias tires get lower times, and other drag radials like bFs or MTs get better times but last much less.

I am looking for a street tire with some drag use. The best i have seen on these tires was 1.68-60ft. This was on a stock turbo FD with 360whp. Anyone with a similar time? Better?

 

I've gotten them to dead hook on the street (once), but never got them to hook at the track.

 

How much psi were you running them on? I see people running them on very low pressure @13psi .Maybe this could have been a factor

 

Best I ever managed was a 1.74 and it was luck.
