Back in the day.. 3rd world island drags

Here some footage from the 90's of our island Trinidad.... notice how the rotary's was always in the lead ... Now times have changed, the track is filled with R34's, Evo's, FD's etc..

Old skool indeed.... But it has come a long way, unfortunately they cannot get a proper track to run on these days.. Racers have to prep the "track" themselves and with their own money so thats why some fools resort to foolish behavior like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kfj7...eature=related

Anthony this man is a legend, he was the fastest man in the english speaking caribbean, even faster than the Aruba cars that used to come Wallerfield to race... Unlike you and Mr Mitsu, im a real trini My uncles used to take me to see drags with my baby bottle (now its a rum bottle )
The first rail was built using the chassis from a Datsun pickup, how ******* scary is that and the car before that , the Unico Kingswood had tubs made out of an old steel oil drum
You and Crispeed is white men with Trini accent , alyuh don't remember the good old days

"No problem" had a Nissan 280C inline 6 i believe, with a diesel crank... basically a "home made" stroker kit with a motor from a taxi

Actually it's not a home made stroker kit. That's how it's done all over the world by Nissan experts to this day.

Oh I remember but don't forget I had to leave for mental treatment after 'Big Daddy' tried to kill me like about 20yrs ago with the Unico kingswood!
On a serious note we need to say a prayer for Big Daddy's mom who suffered a heart attack a couple of days ago here in Miami.
