i tried to record that pass but aparently i didnt hit record, i know some of the guys there did get the pass on video, ill try and get it.
data log shows i spun tires going into 2nd for .28 of a second
shift time (first blip of tps going below 100% till back to 100%)
1-2= .3
2-3= .4
3-4= .38
still room for improvment just in that pass

The pcs is worth every penny, the data alone plus incredible boost controll..I love it
Blitz, yep stock syncro'd tranny, actually a used one, no cryo, nothing special

Wow thats impressive, how many 9 second passes with it? the reason I am asking I have a fully rebuilt FD tranny for next years season on a new setup, 9 second quarters as a goal , but was thinking should I bother and just fit a GForce clutch assisted box

you can shift 1-2 @ the moon (9900 RPM)
2-3 will only shift clean above 8200 a handfull of times and then the syncros will wear/crown and it will gring like a mf-er and not let you go into 3rd= solution shift light @ 8k
3-4 shift it @ the moon also
this tranny has 5 -9 sec passes with about 15 low 10 second passes on it, and atleast 10 1.3 60's
fill the tranny 1/4 qt light
have a legitmate tailshaft brace (i run a a-spec one)
i also run a flowcontroll valve, driveline shock is the killer of all things stock.. i know theres quite a few on here getting it done without, but my consistent results speak forthemselves
Honestly I have a gearset @ liberty getting faceplated, compared to the gforce clutched unit its a incredible option
even if you have them do it from a-z and put in a upgraded tailshaft its only like a 2200$ deal
now if you can de-re- assemble your own tranny sending them just the gearset is faster, and cheaper turn arround
However, gforce you will have gearratio options, which we all know the facorty box ratios arent ideal, gforce gears and case will be stronger, and face plate strait cut gears will shift faster

Thanks for the info, I have the Tilton FCV,and diff brace. But the info you have for revs for changing gears , and in what gears is invaluable , as my old gearbox for the second to third shift syncros were fooked after a couple of 9000 rpms shifts lol
So will follow your advice and give it a try. The rebuilt box has been hardened and shot peened gear set. So hopefully will last a weekends racings, hoping to develop 800 bhp for next year.
Will carry on saving money for the G-Force 5 speed, what ratios are recommended?
Need all the help I can get for next year, a whole load of GTR R35s are entered into our Street Class, must beat the pistons lol

For the diff, run the PFS Girdle, regular braces help for wheel hop on the street, the girdle keeps the pinion form walking down the ring and splitting the pumpkin in half. I split one last year with a diff “brace”

The few Honda guys worth talking to at the track (10.0 cars) run the CM unit and like it more than the tilton just b/c of valve changes. They work the same, C/m just fixed the only flaw with the tilton. but for the most part it becomes set it and forget it
