Hi guys. Just wanted to share with you guys my project. This is a street car that im planning to drag race with. It is a 94 fd. The engine was build by Moncho Performance and Tuned by Wilbert Performance in PR.
- 13b REW engine open to a 13b RE ports then street ported and half bridge ports
- 13b RE intake
- Full Balance rotating assembly and light weight rotor process done by Gaby Skern
- Power Seals
- Stock Mazda Seals (side seals, springs, etc.)
- Microtech LT c
- 1600cc injectors
- Gato Performance stainless steel turbo manifold
- Precision Turbo (76mm)

We just took the car to the dyno on friday night and did 729hp@26psi. After that it started to spin the tires on the dyno so we couldn't go any farther with it. But im happy with what it did. So now Im planning on doing some upgrades on the rear end, axles, tranny, etc.

What fuel did you use?

 

Since in puerto rico we dont have the advantage of Ethanol probably the car was running on c16 !!

 

Thanks for the compliment Sk8. We did 3 dyno pulls with 91octane gas and it did 569hp@17psi then we took all of the 91 octane fuel out and put Q16 fuel and got the 729hp@29psi. Did a couple of more passes but it started to spin the tires so...

 

That's when you load up guys in the hatch.. I had to do that last time and didn't like that much at all. You running 4 1600's? What pump set up? I believe I am starting on q16 again but I ran out of pump last time.

 

Yes I'm running 4 1600cc injectors and using 2 in tank Bosch fuel pumps. Are you using the liberty tranny in your car?? What rear end u running??

 

Yes still on liberty but leaning towards an auto set up. Rear is a worn out t2 unit.

What is the size of the turbine housing and wheel?

 

I'm having some problems with my water pump pulley. The belt I guess is spinning on the pulley and it's not moving the water pump like its supposed to. What water pulley u guys have???heres a pic of mine.

FD Idler Pulley Kit

Or

FD Idler Pulley Kit-BT

I got the last one, and the issue went away


No se puede, bomba de agua en el FD corre al reves del turbo 2.

 

Maybe the FD Idler Pulley Kit from Pineapple racing will help with that.

Have a question guys. I can get here from a friend a brand new Kaaz limited slip 1.5 which is the one that I want and I can get it for a good price but it's not the "Super Quiet" one. How loud is the regular one? Is it something really bad the noise that it makes? Please help me on this.
