You've got 5 lug up front? I still have 4 lug. There's not much available for 4 lug, just a bunch of old ugly crap.

R.P.M. 04-07-09 09:26 AM

I have 4 lug GSL-SE front hubs up front. Now if you have the craptastic 4x110...then yeah, your SOL

Viking War Hammer 04-07-09 09:53 AM

Guess I need to figure out what I have. Actually, pretty sure the previous owner swapped everything out to GSLE stuff.

Even then, I still don't see many wheels available in 4 lug.

Doc Holiday 04-07-09 10:25 AM

Lots of the Weld wheels are 4 lug, cuz the 5.0 Mustangs were 4 lug.

I was hoping to find a 5 star wheel.

If you call Holeshot or Bogart they can make any wheel they carry any bolt pattern! Especially with Holeshot, they are very cool and know imports very well. Money talks and bullsh--t walks....but, you knew that already.

Viking War Hammer 04-07-09 03:41 PM

Yep, I didn't even think about that. But yes you're right, they were very pleasant to deal with!

13BT_Starlet 04-07-09 09:04 PM

What I like the most about HoleShot is they are only a 1:30 min away from me ,LOL . That 5star HS lock really nice !

ultimatejay 04-07-09 10:04 PM

yeah the 5 star holeshots or the 5 star weld pro stars will look tight.

:icon_tup::icon_tup::icon_tup: good shit glad to see it on the road..................

Got both tub models done today and they're fitting nice and snug to the quarter panel. It was pretty tricky getting them fitted since the quarter obviously isn't straight.

I'll buy the sheet metal next weekend and get them traced out, cut and welded in.

I've been instructed by the local raceshop to use silicone between the tub and quarter panel..

Makes sence, welding the tubs to the quarters would trash the paint on the other side would it not

Viking War Hammer 04-25-09 11:13 AM

Well they look great Eric but now the easy part!:icon_tup:

Viking War Hammer 04-25-09 05:18 PM

what easy part?

Busted7 04-25-09 06:10 PM

Sorry i thought that the statment was smart ass enough without an explanation!

Filling in the other areas gets tricky, best of luck its looking good Eric!

Viking War Hammer 04-25-09 07:13 PM

how does it get tricky? just deciding how to run it? I've got a pretty good imagination?

Should I use the same 22 gauge metal or should I use some thing aluminum sheeting?

remember, I want things nice and sealed/quiet in there

13B-RX3 04-25-09 07:19 PM

That looks really nice Eric. For a self thought fabricator you're doing a damn fine job.

OK, back to cleaning rotors :)

Viking War Hammer 04-25-09 07:21 PM

cleaning rotors? what the hell did you do?

ultimatejay 04-25-09 07:22 PM

With 4" exhaust and sheet metal, there's no such thing as, "Quiet".:lol::lol:

Looks good Eric. Some plastic loom over the wiring would tidy things up and I'm sure you're not done yet and was planning on that anyway.

Viking War Hammer 04-25-09 07:47 PM

What do you guys use to coat your wheel wells? I hope to pick something up locally tommorow at the auto parts store or lowes. I'd hate to use undercoating, that stuff is just nasty.
