^ no more partying for me... I've been sober for the past year and so far it's working out great.

Today was spent driving & touring various spots in Arecibo, Guajataka, Isabela, Aguadilla, Mayaguez & San German.
The tunnel in Guajataka was insane.. I spent 3 hours exploring the beaches & rivers in Guajataka and I still haven't see it all... I went to Isabela to visit the spot of the famous legend of Jacinto & his cow, but when I got to Jabo beach the rain messed it up for me. I'm big fan of Andrew Zimmern, so I it was disappointing not being able to yell "Jacinto, dame la vaca"
I spend so much time in Guajataka that I was unable to visit the Parguera because of the weather etc, but I will be back in PR this summer so I'll make some time to visit more places.

Food today was Lechon in Arecibo & Mofongo in Mayaguez which was by far the best I've ever had. Will post pics when I get a good internet connection

Tomorrow is qualifying for the event.. MIB has been at the track since Wednesday's event and it only requires a quick wash before this weekend's event. That's right, no tune up, no oil change, no compression check, no new engine or none of that "traditional" stuff. Next time someone tells you that Rotaries aren't reliable, tell them to read this thread.

The mountains of Corozal

View of Isla Verde

Lunch in Arecibo but Guavate is the place to go for Lechon or any sort of roasted meat.

I saw this from the highway, so I stopped to get a closer look. All original
Older datsuns, Corollas and some of the cleanest Suzuki Samurai's I've ever seen are common sights in PR

It's raining right now in Ponce and I'm watching the black clouds moving down to Salinas. I'm not sure if the event will be rained out today, but I'll keep you guys updated.

On Thursday the Sporty guys were in the process of hiring a professional clutch tuner from the US to help sort out their Rx7. There's also a new clutch in the car, so hopefully we'll see another 6 second pass from them.

Two things:

- Jobs
- Crime rates

BTW - The event was canceled due to the rain, it still stands for tomorrow.

Just got back from the track.. It rained a little but we still had fun. Men, the Puerto Rican people are so warm and kind. Every team wants to feed you and shelter you from the rain etc and for those reasons I don't feel like an outsider, I feel like I'm one of them. Arlando, the owner of the new AJ RAcing Rx3 worked on my island for a few months and he said "meng, Trinidad is just like Puerto Rico... Same look, same houses, similar foods, etc" So with that said, I'm sure Ito will be right at home in Trini with a Shark sandwich in his hand :-) Right Ito?

Today I think I ate about 5 pounds of the Mayo-Ketchup combo.. Those guys put that on every sandwich, every fry & every piece of bread

I saw Edgar today and we talked about the new products that will be coming out of E&J soon. You guys will be amazed with the new stuff, trust me. Kilito was MIA, his father said he's hanging out with his cousins and should be at the track tomorrow.

Correct!!! I didn't ask for that photo... I was rushed by those girls because they worked for a friend of mine, so I no choice
Everyone knows that I'm a serious guy, so there was no way in hell I would pose for a pic with skanks.
