looking at the video with Anthony for the first time.... He was very lucky his motor wasn't on full song because if he had trapped his usual 130's then it might have been a disaster... That was a scary moment, I dropped everthing and starting running down the parking lot to get a better idea on the situation, while I was typing the update
Not even CNN gives you service like that
OK im going to sleep, wake me up next week because i'm ******* beat!!!

Nice meeting everyone, we had a blast at this event. Everyone came out. There were so many people in attendance that they had to turn people away. Every parking area was filled, people were parking in the side streets opposite the track!

My car was breaking up on top becuase the plugs were shot. When I tested the car the night before with Rx794 it was doing the same thing but I thought it was to much fuel so after my first pass I pulled out 4% and the air fuels were in the 11.3-11.5 area. I talked to Ernie the night before and told him I needed plugs bad, he was going to bring me a set before I ran the car again but he could not make it.

As for the crash with the integra, we both dialed in a 10.6. If the car did not break up before the end, I think I would have been a lot closer to hitting him. I saw him lose it and slammed the breaks and he passed in front of me. He was ok but I saw him hit the wall HARD. He is ok though.

The event was a blast, I had a great spot in the pits, met a lot of cool people, good food and great racing!!! As for the updates for me, I've been running the same boost all year, i'm going to change the intake setup, add a few more injectors, larger turbo (slightly) and about 10 more psi before the year is over if all goes as planned.

Anthony

Ant I was on the stands, when you ran that integra. I couldn't see who crash but all of my boys started to run down the track with me. Some strange reason I look over the track and seen you driving back to the pits... but it was a nice event. I gotten my self a nice little tan.....

That was a close one! Looks like a replay of when we were up there for the Nopi Atco event. Most important no one was hurt.

Do you know if it was a regular 10.5 or a 10.5W?

I thought you guys just get brown? I thought only us hillbillys get rednecks?

I have frame by frame pics of Anthony's near mishap and also of the Starlet's crash from yesterday.. Tomorrow I'll go through all 600+ pics and clean up the file so Anthony could probably post it on Rx7s.com

The event's coordinator for Salinas speedway told me they're planning a big "similar to panams" event in Etown come October... It'll be 5 Florida cars vs 5 of PR best for larger than normal prize money... This event was a huge success so hopefully we get a repeat in a few months with this race they're planning..

Hope you guys enjoyed the live action, I tried to accomodate the guys that couldn't make it... Jailbroken Apple Iphone ROCKS!!!!!

Jose Vidal, where the **** were you??? I searched the whole track for you but no luck.... I did meet up with Chiqui, Ken and Lance from CT's VMRC, those guys were a blast and cool as hell.. I also had a very lengthy conversation with Jon Blanch from Microtech Australia, this is my second time meeting him and he's very cool... He showed me Pics of his RX8 thats being built in PR, its still in the rolling chassis stage with the body now being altered and fabricated by Macho Designs... The front end is very cool looking and it looks nothing like Yankee or Flaco, but still carrys the 44" overhang.. This Rx8 looks very prostockish interms of its new front and rear design, but the car wouldn't be ready till January or so.

Dispite the heat I had 3 days of fun and hard on's plus I also got to hang out with some cool guys from the forum..
Hey Waz up It was great meeting you. I had a great time! You knew your stuff on who, what, and why at the event.

Hope to hang out some more in future events. Dont forget to stop in and visit us. I'd like to see some pictures posted on your 1st gen 20b.

I took some videos, but I have an ancient camera nothing close to what you have. Anyways here it is...

Enjoy!

Here is the poor Starlet that hit the wall...

We have more pictures at our site.

Cool pics Ken.. I see you were lucky to get pics of the starlet before they put the cover on it.... Team PR always throw on the cover as soon as it goes on the flatbed, same thing last year with clubman..

Rx7 & the rest of my cars are in a thread in the old shool section..

Hey thats Mr Sheep bulla.... get the name correct next time.. don't let it happen again!!!!

I have about 1100 pics from all 3 days but as you can see, im not a web person.... I used Arles as per your recomendation but my problem is the public_html folder in Cpanel..... How about I give you the CF card with all the pics and you upload them on your site....

BTW I did some **** and deleted all 50 pages of pics, but I replaced them with some of your car..... You said "put it in burst mode and let it rip" so I did that as soon as you staged

AnthonyNYC-why do you use stock wheels in the rear and race rims up front? Is it because of a weight issue?
