finally met Anthony, he ran a 10.8 earlier..
Ken lost to Pica, I think he red lit but R/T was still no match for Pica's HP because he ran him down..

Duke won against Adrianna is back when Angel red-lit

Pito nitro from the Bronx just put his red/black Datsun 1200 on its side.. He was racing the sand color "sakura" 1st gen from Florida.. Driver is ok

thank god Anthony is ok, the integra in the right lane lost it after the finish line & came over on Anthony's lane... Anthony's trap was 15-20mph lower that usual & that's probably saved him from a colision... Motor sounds abnormal, he's checking over the logg to see if everything is ok

******* carnage here today, Alverado red celica just crashed... Seems like every round has a crash... Integra broke out his index so Anthony might be going rounds if the car is ok...

******* carnage I told u..... Another crash between Duke & Pro FWD, but not sure who crashed.. Fwd red lit & duke knew it but still ran it hard after a late start... Btw fwd was in the right lane, same lane the integra crash..... Both crashes happened after finish line.... Melanie starlet going to the next round after MIB bogged in the hole..

**** it was duke..... Yo he had it in the bag but wanted to put on a show for the crowd..... That rx3 was a work of art

Duke looks like it suffered minor damage from my angle, it could be back out for the next round...

PR is getting an *** beating....
Hardtarget scion just put the lix on that silver 1st gen (sammy)?
rosardo racing looks like he red lit against yankel ? Blue starlet.... Btw the starlet did 7.34 on that pass

the track was in good condition,from the begining team PR wasnt doing that good,Nayeli did not run,Adriana,Pica and Yankee were not running that good at all (i seen this 3 cars on one night run multiple passes down the track all of them in the low 7s range at more that 185mph and that didnt happens this weekend) I might get shot by my puertorican hommies for saying this but this year the puertorican team was not as good as in past years,Last year they have cars like Nibo,Sporty,Little Gabriel,New Vivian,Sarita,this years they have a bunch of new proyects(im not saying that they are not good at all)that were not as fast and consistent as the last year team,now team USA in the other hand have la Otra.Rosado,Hard target,Pepe Loco,Pimar,Mazwork,Lucimar and the red bull front wheel drive thing that were running really good,Puerto Rico only set one record on the MIB(7.2 at 190mph)USA did set a couple of records and some of them in new cars,i think that team USA is catching up with PR and that from now on is gonna be harder for team PR to win,CONGRATS TEAM USA

The event was huge even though there weren't as many cars this year.... The Florida cars are running very well and PR better watch out because these boyz ain't no joke... It was hot, but when the wind blew it felt cool but I'm sure the track temp was well over 115-120...
I have frame by frame pics of Anthony's near mishap and also of the Starlet's crash from yesterday.. Tomorrow I'll go through all 600+ pics and clean up the file so Anthony could probably post it on Rx7s.com

The event's coordinator for Salinas speedway told me they're planning a big "similar to panams" event in Etown come October... It'll be 5 Florida cars vs 5 of PR best for larger than normal prize money... This event was a huge success so hopefully we get a repeat in a few months with this race they're planning..

Hope you guys enjoyed the live action, I tried to accomodate the guys that couldn't make it... Jailbroken Apple Iphone ROCKS!!!!!

Jose Vidal, where the **** were you??? I searched the whole track for you but no luck.... I did meet up with Chiqui, Ken and Lance from CT's VMRC, those guys were a blast and cool as hell.. I also had a very lengthy conversation with Jon Blanch from Microtech Australia, this is my second time meeting him and he's very cool... He showed me Pics of his RX8 thats being built in PR, its still in the rolling chassis stage with the body now being altered and fabricated by Macho Designs... The front end is very cool looking and it looks nothing like Yankee or Flaco, but still carrys the 44" overhang.. This Rx8 looks very prostockish interms of its new front and rear design, but the car wouldn't be ready till January or so.

Dispite the heat I had 3 days of fun and hard on's plus I also got to hang out with some cool guys from the forum..
