**** now that i look at it that is a slow trap speed for the blitz car too (222kmh=137mph).that car must have been flyin at one point to trap that slow, yet run in the 8.80's!!!

Yesterday at the Jambo rerun the Mazfix rx7 ran a PB of 8.44 @ 169.3mph!!
Followed it it with two more 168.7 and 168.9mph.
Still massive wheel spin of the line. If we can get the power to the ground look for low 8s.
Cheers

WOW that car is moving boy, Big congrats to all involved... wonder how low he could he have gotten if he had kept it IRS, but still without it those times are amazing for an un-tub 13b

What about the Baretta, is it making a come back?

The good part is that no one can say it cannot be done.
The Aussies are clearly the leaders when it comes to un-tub small tyre imports.

Also shows that you don't need a 20b to run decent RELIABLE times, but you do need a driver with alot of ***** to steer the thing thru 1/2 track skids. I think the cake goes to GRUMP2's 20b rx2 with the 3/4 track skids @ 8.1's, that man gotta lotta kohonies driving that thing.

Crispeed what are you personal goals for the new Travieso IRS FD? We know that you're more than capable of making the necessary power, but what about the IRS? Are you running the mazda diff or a 8.8? I guess at that level where 1 or 2 have gone its kinda hard to predict the outcome, but good luck.

True to a point but you can't argue that a 20B might be more reliable at this power level especially when in this application it's not about how more power you can make it's about how much you can get to the ground.

My personal goal is to just start!
I do know the first time something breaks the IRS is history!
Been there done that many times before.
'Gold' setting is about breaking imaginary records and parts.
Racers do what it takes to be consistent to win races. You got to decide your piority as a racer. If you can set a record along the way all good and fine but you ain't going to win races trying to set records. You can't have both because the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow does run dry eventually

Congratulations to Archie and the Mazfix team.
I believe this makes them the quickest un-tubbed IRS FD in the world presently.

Does anyone know what size tire they run?
