I use mine all the time (well in the summer at least).

I have a innovate LM-1 and coulden't be happier with it. Costs $350 if I remember right.

I have the PLX unit also and it works fine. (used to have an old TechEdge unit but it was flakey.) I use the older PLX with the L1H1 sensor. It's got a small fan that's kind of annoying but is linear, fully digital and compact. Display is very crisp but you never really look at it anyway.

I have an LM-1. I put it in every couple months to make sure all is well. I datalog to my Haltech so I don't need any aux datalogging.

What JScott is saying is his haltech logs the AFR from the LM-1. If you don't have a aftermarket EMS that has logging capabilities you need the RPM cable that innovate sells for the LM-1. With the RPM cable you can datalog into the LM-1.

Yes, what Setzep said is correct. Yes, I'd buy the RPM convertor. It's not just a cable. It's turning the rpm's into a voltage reading for the LM-1 to log so $100 is a good deal.

WOW, that inovative unit is nice. I want one!

$350 sounds good for how easy it would be for tuning.

I imagine that logging with my haltech, I could just drive and then go through the maps and adjust fuel. Then fine tune for power on a dyno.

Chimeron you may want to talk to Reese, NOTA944, he lives in Columbia and has a wideband. He may let you use it if you drive down, but talk to him first about it as he is a busy man and may not have the time in his schedule.

Sweet, I've got friends to visit there anyway. As soon as I get my S-AFC I'll contact him and see.

I have a LamdaBoy. Very accurate and simple to use. A bit more expensive but worth it. Excellent after sales service and advice.

I just bought a LM-1 for $309 in a group buy on a Porsche forum. I also bought the RMP/Auxillary input cable for $111. I haven't tried the unit out yet but it does look and feel like a quality piece.

I don't know about his, but the one I used from a buddy was pretty flakey. You look at it wrong and it goes into some fault mode that it doesn't shake easily. Sheesh I spent more time fiddling with the sensor than tuning the car...

Just bought a new one and installed it today. I got the PLX device one, i spent about 330.00 shipped. Its using the bosch 6 wire sensor, it has a VW part # one it. If anyone needs this type of sensor let me know, i used to work for VW and i can get these all day long.
