havent done the block off plate yet, but I touch the car to brian at bnr supercars at ( about 60 miles from here) and he retricted so of the oil going to the turbo. well it didnt stop the smoke. fellas, Im going to face it that the car is burning oil. the smoke comes oil the exhuast when I crank the engine cold. Im going to do the block plate for the last option. If it doesnt work, I guess i will have to pull the engine and send it back to hayes. After I get done with them, i will make them pay the shipping. This motor is a new motor from them that is a warrenty engine that they fucked up before. If they wont pay it, then Im going to let brian rebiuld it for me(get **** done right for once). brian put me to shame when he fired up his 2nd gen with b-port and not one gaspe of smoke come the exhaust after ideling for 5 min or so. man this ******* sucks. Im so broke right now i can afford to buy a boost contoller. WHY IS HAYES STILL IN BUISNESS??

The problem could also be oil leak past the turbine seal. I've seen a few T-78s do this. Mostly track cars though.

If it did turn out to be a turbine seal that is causing this. Mainly because it would not be Hayes fault and they would have taken a lot of bad wrap on it. The turbo needs to be the first thing checked since it has to come off anyways.

ok, i have the pump off. im going to make the plate tomorrow. I just got done removing the oil injectors. a few people told me this would be a 2hour job. Sence its my first time doing it , its taking me for ever. Im making my block off plate with a 3/16 thick sheet of stainless steel. It looks like a piece of bathroom tile. It was free so im not complaining.

cheers everybody!!! this piece of **** motor from hayes rotary is burning oil. Restricting the oil to the turbo didnt help, block off plate for omp, removing the oil injectors didnt help, leaning out the idel didnt either. Even though the motor is under warranty the motor is not going back to them. The motor was rebiult 3 months ago from them becuase something they fucked up the firdt time and returns back here burning oil. ANT THAT SOME ****!!! Theres nothing i can do becuase the motor wasnt purchased in my name. I could get the person I bought the car from to do it, but Im not spending 300 bucks for another **** up.
