Ok so im really considering buying an rx-7 but the thing is i dont have a clue what a rotary engine is and what engine internal upgrades i could get for it. etc for a 4 cyl i could get rod, piston, shafts......

So the question is what exactly is a rotary engine and what engine internal upgrades are there? Also websites of place I could buy from would be helpful.any response would be helpful. thx
