This weekend just passed the inaugural Drag Combat event was held. The event was washed out on Saturday but Sunday was a beautiful day. There were a few quick cars in attendance, the quickest being the HKS GTR!

The videos I put up were:

Mazsport 3rd gen RX7 with 20B, methanol and airshifted Lenco. This was the cars first pass with the airshifter but the clutch crapped out.

Mazfix 3rd Gen RX7. Quickest sedan bodied rotor in Australia. 7.88 @ 171. 20B, methanol and airshifted liberty. The car ran a 7.9 @ 172 on the Friday but popped an engine in the process.

Rocco 1st Gen RX7. 13B with methanol (I think, from the smell it was!) Best time to date is an 8.68 from memory.

HKS 7.8 - What more needs to be said? Weighs 880kgs with driver...

Rotormaster 3rd Gen RX7. 20B, methanol and airshifted G Force. 2nd quickest sedan based rotor in the country with a 7.881 @ 172.

DBRONX WRX - One of the quickest in the country. I think this 10.3 pass may have been a PB. Now has an auto but shattered the flex plate on its next pass.
