Vericom testing a 92 FD

Last night my friend and i did some runs on a stage one street port REW motor with Apexi Power FC and big front mounted intercooler 4 850 cc injectors (maxed at 90%)
stock twins and 12 psi of boost. Results 1/4 mile 13.81 -109.5 mph. 0-62mph 5.4s-77m. I think this motor makes around 360 hp with a weight of 3100 lbs.Knock on the Power FC was 26 and fuel Shell V-Power 99 octane unleaded was used. We must go faster than 13.47s that a guy in North of Sweden has gone with his 93 FD streetport. Any suggestions how we could go faster?

this will not help you im sorry but it will help others responding.

The gas octane he listed as 99 is not ron+mon/2 as we have here in n/a.
the octane is roughly 94(pon) give or take a bit.

Mate

I have 6 different G-Tech RR times of the following.

The Slowest one is 12.830 @ 116mph, car weight as tested is 1340kg, best time I have recorded was 12.540 @ 118mph, 0-100kph times are 5.0 seconds with soft launches (slipping my carbon twin plate clutch to preserve drive line).

On our low reading chassis dyno's here I make 318rwhp with semi slick tires on 12.5psi boost pressure, above performance times are run at 14.5psi boost.

This is all done with stock engine (60k miles old) stock turbo's and totaly stock fuel system running at 96% duty, I have a new engine being built with NRS two piece seals, my street porting, and latest spec BNR turbo's with upgraded fuel system, with traction control on road it will run 11's with ease @ 125mph............ well thats the aim

Hello Peter! Thank you for your inputs. Can say that i had 2 Vericom VC-200 from late 80s and they were not functioning correct. Now i have a G-tech RR and the times are consistent and faster (becausse of built in 12" roll out) We tested a stock 93 FD with V-mount intercooler Power FC 15 psi boost 3" cat back system best time 12.96s-112,8 mph on the street. FD weighs in at 3000 lbs and according to Moroso calulator it have 330 rwhp which shold be around390-400 hp at cranc. The FD that had gone 13.77s is now being single turbo converted! Turbo is a Holset HX-40 with 60 mm inducer 23 turbine housing. A larger universal "China" intercooler Greddy elbow. We hope to have mapped and dyno test it on a Rototest before we attend Swedens last dragrace event 30/9 for this year. Goal? Be Swedens first FD to break into the 10s! Any inputs should be appreciated.
