Unhappy Turbo spooling 1500 RPM late.

Today I noticed that I'm hitting full boost about 1500 RPM later than usual. Here's what I have:
T-78, HKS 40mm wastegate, Greddy profec.

Uh, well.....is the car doing anything it hasnt been? Sputtering, high EGTs, anything? I think that to solve this problem, we are going to need WAY more info.

Nothing that I can think of specifically, but every once in a while the idle gets a little unsteady. I was thinking I may have a leak somewhere, but I didn't think I would hit 15 PSI with a leak.

I was hearing what sounded like an exhaust leak near my wastegate(maybe staying open a little), but I've been too lazy to go out in the rain to check it out. When I get some time this week I'll check it out since I have to get under the car to fix another exhaust leak.

maybe its not a boost leak, but a vac leak? i dont know if this would effect the spool times or not.

I'm not sure. I really need to just check it out when it stops raining. So far my car hasn't beaten me. Once I hit full boost it feels good, but I'd prefer to have it at 4K instead of 5500.

Could also be a bad blow off valve that's venting pressure, exaust leak anywhere before the turbo, leaking wastgate... Or the worst of them all your turbo is eating it's self....

You read my mind. I was thinking the wastegate because I can hear the wastegate opening at around 10-11 PSI, but I have a 14.2 PSI spring, but when I got home this morning I checked out my blowoff valve for the hell of it, and it looks like the valve may not be seated all the way down. I could have sworn that I could hear air coming from it. It may be leaking there. I'll also check out the gasket. My friend has the same BOV. So maybe I'll try his on my car.

I think it's one of my silicone couplers. There's one area where the pipes were quite a distance apart, and the coupler was close to the dege. It appears that it's been slowly working it's way loose. So now I know why my wastegate is opening when my gauge says it shouldn't. Tomorrow I'll try to re-do the pipes, because I REALLY want to start running 17 PSI again on my motor. I miss it.
