Exclamation Trying to Turbo-ize a 88 N/A Convertible

I just wanted to know if there is any way to turbo a Non - Turbo 6 port. I wanted to know if it was as easy as swaping manifolds and plumbing or is it a little more invlolved. If I do turbo a 6 port what is the max horse power I am looking at with the swap and bolt ons. Also with and without a port and speaking of ports what ports should I perform. Please I am begging for guidance from my rotary peers. THANKS EVERYONE WHO REPLYS ... :smiley_12

Wink

Need information on the Havoc kit. I want to know if you need to use the N/A ecu or use the TII ecu also do you swap injectors and what boost level do you run. Also do you use the TII boost sensor or go aftermarket. :smiley_12

As far as I know the Havoc kit existed for about 10 seconds about 5 years ago. No one has ever bought one, no one has ever heard from the company since then and the website has not been touched since...

As for your other questions, take a look at the copious amount of into found at http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/naturbo.htm (this link was also iin the FAQ).

Cool man, I have been meaning to get up with you. I like you am very adventurous when it comes to all things automotive I am about to get a rebuilt atkins rotary motor with a stage 2 port and wanted to know is this the best time to turbo it now that every thing is out of the car. Also if I use a different exhaust manifold with that take care of the 2.5 inch clearence problem. Also do I use the turbo upper manifold. or the stock one. It has been a while since you upgraded your web site did you dyno your car yet and if so how much is it making. I know I am bumbarding you with questions but I want the most interesting rx7 I can build and with your experience and guidance I am sure I could be on my way. Thanks for replying. God Bless.

It's been a while since I updated the website for sure. I'm working on it right now but there won't be too many changes in the NA turbo info except for an addition of a few changes and improvements.

If you use the turbo upper and lower, you don't need to deal with clearance issues. Any TII turbo and manifold will bolt right up.

No, I did not dyno the car.
