Which transmission should I get to handle the power?
Ok, first off, I don't have an RX-7, I don't need the tranny yet. I will. Bolt in does not matter, custom work is fine.
Lets say I had 800 rwhp, obviously the RX-7 tranny can't handle it. Let's also assume I have $1500 to spend on a tranny.
What 5-6spd tranny would you suggest, which would have proper ratios and handle the power?
I've been thinking a BW T-56 which comes in corvette, trans ams, etc.
any opinions?
