get a picture of the white smoke

white smoke doesn't = too much fuel.

White smoke is either condensation, oil (blue-ish), or coolant.

some smoke at start up is pretty normal

If your water seals are leaking, you will see white smoke when you are in max
vacuum- when you rev high in gear and let off. If not, you may just need to
adjust cold start maps if you can. If you can't- is your base fuel pressure too
high?
