is there any real time A/F gauges besides wideband?

I'm trying to find out if there are any a/f gauges on the market that can show the a/f ratio in normal driving and not only in WOT like the autometer... besides the expensive widebands that is..... do you need to be in WOT to show anything for the Defi or Greddy gauges??? I have the autometer one now, and it sure SUCK!!!

If you want anything remotely useful you need a wide band sensor. The ones that read off your factory O2 sensor will never be able to give you an accurate representation of your a/f ratio, the sensor itself is not accurate enough. Either you get the cheaper gaugess for the blinkey lights or you get a wide band for accurate info.

I think what Dannis is a bit confused, but the thrust of his question is a good one. I read that to mean "Are there any A/F gauges that will give a meaningful reading at conditions other than WOT?"

Anyone got any recommendations?

yeah. a true wideband.
recomendations... do some reading on the differences between a standard O2 and a wide band O2. no matter what you have hooked up to the standard O2 it reads like this... a true wideband on the otherhand reads like this... as you can see the 1v o2 reads either RICH or LEAN, where the WB shows exactly *where* you are inbetween the two extremes (so to speak).
sorry, i am not good with words...
