TX T56 adapter bellhousing

So I'v been doing some research and found a guy that is interested in making 13b to T56 adapter bell housings. The bad news is that he only makes 10 at a time and wants me to make sure the customer base is out there for it.

If this is something you would like to see they would be priced around $350 for the housing only.

open to ideas, suggestion, and needs.

just as an FYI kennedyeng.com has an adaptor, if they have a price online i can't find it.

What clutch? what kind of hydraulics? what starter and where would it be? will the Mazda pilot fit the input shaft? I don't think they do... Are you supplying or selling a transmission cradle with this? same with the drive shaft?

he took a bunch of pics down. His work looks very clean we well thought through. most t56 adapters (for diff cars) use a hydro throwout bearing, modified vette clutch, and t56 pilot. machined into a custom or stock flywheel.

"$350 for the housing only." you can find places to make a drive shaft everywhere and it shouldn't cost much. Same with the cradle. Anyone with a welder/bender could make one.

I was basicly told to drop the idea here and other forums. I contacted the guy because i want one. i needed to get 9 more people that did. his email for anyone that wants to contact him. japaneseauto1978@yahoo.com

Well, you can definitely put me down as interested. That said, I'd really need to have a few things laid out before I laid down any money.

Details of the item like started options, confirmation of proper depth and centering of input shaft, as well as a timeline from beginning the project to having the product. The example provided, while looking like a truly well-made product, did say that it took 2 years. That definitely won't work for me, personally.

Like I said, I'm absolutely interested. Just need the details.

Thanks.

and that works for most cars yes, the rotary pilot is in the E-shaft. There are some on this forum my self included that have no problem with some fab, but there are also alot that want a kit or need to know what will be needed. Saying most adapters use this list of parts is not real helpful, knowing the real parts needed will be as any one can then just do the math.
adaptor $350, used T-56 $1200-2200 custom clutch kit 200-400, adaptor for T56 speedometer *electric only* to mechanical 200-300, or mechanical speedo conversion kit 500-900, custom drive shaft *120-300?* custom cross member and what ever to use the pilot.

This is all true for the most part but to sell something thats not real yet you should still give info. If you had posted saying you need this stuff too it looks a lot more professional and that you are investing real time into this making it less likely to fail as so many other "hey do you want" threads.

well im not trying to sell anything. I gave up. Most clutch companies can re-spline the disk to suit your transmission choice.

your right though, this product doesn't exist. therefor i couldn't tell you what you might need. saying a estimated price would be ridiculous given the clutch specs and flywheel specs would all change at the drop of a hat. with the blank slate provided we may even be able to use nothing but off-the-shelf parts. everything may need to be custom.

most people can make a custom bell housing in the span of a few weekend. im sure if cosmetic appearance wasn't an issue his R&D time would be less.

im just going to borrow my buddies tig and make my own.
