Supercharger on FD3

I stand corrected, I misread.
"What about the extra weight?
Our ESC™ weighs only 42 lb. At just 13 lbs each, a bank with four Odyssey 680 batteries adds another 52 lbs. That's 94 lb in total. In comparison, a full turbo kit can easily weigh 90-100lb, while most belt-driven superchargers weigh 70 lbs. As you can see, this "extra weight" is in the same range as any other aftermarket system. Plus, no parasitic loss means greater horsepower, so our ESC™ more than makes up for the difference. "

Very Interesting product. Sadly.. for a slightly modded 13B we will exceed the airflow potential of the product in its current state.
"Maximum CFM is 405 @ 5.5PSI "
Look up recommended carbs in your Racing beat catalog. Talk to a drag racer and ask em what holley they run.
405 is a bit on the low side. Yes.. you could prolly run 3 or 4 LBS of boost on a non-ported engine..... But 2 GRAND??? for 3-4 lbs of boost? Umm... Ill get a turbo. And I am a N/A kinda guy. So I will get something different...Like a button flywheel 2 disk clutch. and have a Grand+ left over.
I DO give him credit though... very ingenious idea... I cant wait to see what he ends up with in a couple years. THAT should be really interesting.
