Question Straight cut gears/gearboxes

What do you know about them?

Pro's and con's vs a standard gearbox.

costs?

worth it?

I really need to pick someones brain here!

All I know is that the streights are stronger. I dont think they shift as well though. I have never driven one so I am not forsure. Any ways thats all I know about them.

Straights are noisier.

Straight gears are stonger and louder. To give you an idea reverse is a straight gear. Thats why you get the whining when backing up.
