SMIC or FMIC which is better?

I am in the process of deciding which intercooler to buy, I am heading more on the stock mount intercooler from M2 the large one...or a front mount by Greddy..I am just worried that with the FMIC I may have overheating problem even if i have an upgraded radiator...and also will the re amemiya n1 hood with the vents fit on the car with the SMIC ...Please let me know your opinions..

Before you get pummled for this I'll let you know...
Try using the search function.
This topic has been discussed numourus times. The forums most likely to have good threads about it are: 3rd Generation, Rotary Performance, and Single Turbo.

To sum it up, for the majority of owners (but not all), the FMIC is a better option.

Ahhh, the questions of all quesitons. My answer is they are both better cause right now you have a POS ic. There is enough subject material on the forum for you to get about 10000hrs or reading in.

Personally I like smic, spacifically the M2. I made my own custom but its very difficult to do and I dont suggest it. Just pick up a good used M2 med and Greddy elbow. They couldnt make the fmic prices cheap enough to persuade me to put a 3" thick core in front of my radiator.
