Silicone Water Hoses

Has anyone used silicone hoses for the radiator lines? Can you or is there some additive that breaks down silicone in coolant?

I'm pretty sure you can. I was looking for silicone vacuum line the other day and found a couple sites that sell it. I think the temp range went up to 1200*F too!
