Question rx-7 drag car- what to do?

I just got an 87 gxl, that had bad side housings for 250 bucks. we are going to try drag racing it just as fun, nothin serious right now, but engine wise how much nitrous will a 13 b handle? should we bridge port it? this will not be a street driven car, so i dont care if the idle sucks or it sucks gas. i was thinking of using a twm throttle bodie set up with a fogger system. also what kind of tranny options are there besides mazda components, and what is a good site that has a lot of info about the different sanctioning bodies and rules ect. thanks
Josh

Hey Josh, I can tell you from experience that if you are starting to build a drag car then know what your goal is before you even touch the thing. Drag racing is addictive and your need to go faster and faster will continue to get as crazy as you will have to make your car. Knowing what class of drag racing you want to make your home is key to building a car. Pick a class, view the class rules and build your car in according to the rules. As far as the BP NOS setup goes. I cant think of a better setup for a racer on a budget that wants to make big power. Judge Ito can help you out with this. The BP NOS setup can take you into the 8s if you have the right body/chassis , which goes back to the what class you want to race in statements. A strong driveline is key, especially when you want to run consistantly, you dont want to get to the finals and break axels and have to live with the fact that you didnt upgrade the driveline. As far as transmissions. Do a search in this forum "Rotary Performance" for transmissions. You will get some dope information about tranny choices for drag racing. Check out www.nhraimport.com and www.importdrag.com for class rules and regulations.
