Question Running a T76 on a 13B?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone out there is running a Turbonetics T76 with a 122 rear housing on a 13B.... I know of one for sale, and I currently looking for a turbo to give me ~500hp at the fly @ 15psi on pump gas, on a S6 13b with turbo porting. Is this turbo too big???, will it be too laggy??? The car is used for circuit racing, and occasional street driving.

thanks

G.

I think a T76 would suck on a 13B if you're looking for 500 flywheel hp at 15 PSI.

Some turbos that I think you should check out are:

60-1
T61
T66

There are other choices out there that also might be good.

Check my site at http://www.catenet.net/dyno.php for some ideas. Most of those dynos are the Dynojet which are popular in the USA... so a small correction factor may need to be applied if you're looking for XXX amount of rwhp on a Dynapack or Dyno Dynamics.

I have a T4/ T76 that spools up pretty quickly, full boost by about 3k-3.5k rpms. The exhaust is a .96 on a stock port motor, so it depends on what kind of port you have.
