Rotary aviation apex seals worth it?

rotary aviation apex seals worth it?
I chiped an apex seal last week , 95,55,55 compresion on the rear rotor. What I was wondering is if these are worth instaling them.... from the searches I have done I found mostly incunclusive reports, but most of them saying that they bend under high heat. I would like to push 380 hp, but have an engine that would last for at least 30,000 miles. It seams that I have found bad stuff on all of the apex seals, maybe its just the luck of the draw. Thanks

I'm a CF and poop smith
it should be obvious that wear on a 380rwhp engine is gonna be more then one which is putting out 225rwhp. on another note, rotary aviation seals are fairly cheap i think.

I would say like all things , nothing is perfect . The choice of apex seals would come down to how much money you got and what seals you prefer . Some would say go with oem seals while others would say something else ... it all comes down to you thou .

The RA seals had problems warping under high heat for a while, but that was traced to some milling problems (third party mills getting the seals too hot). Supposedly it's been fixed, and the "new" seals seem to be holding up just fine.
I have RA seals in mine, but it's just a NA, so I could probably get away with pretty much anything.
