Question about displacement possible ideas?
Well, i have heard two things. One is that the rotary is 1.3L, and another that it is 2.6L.
I think 1.3L.
But, I was thinking, instead of adding extra rotors, would there be much power gain from making the rotors themselves wider? higher displacement?
I know this would require re-working the irons and stuff, but I was just curious if this had been done, or if it wasn't efficient.
I was thinking of ways to make more N/A power with the rotary, and I know in piston engines they go with more displacement. The only place I could find on a rotary for more displacement was widening.
Adding rotors to me seems like just adding more "pistons".
Thanks! Any other ideas? I am just curious.
