Problem

I have a problem.
My car fails to 7.000rpm.
It cuts 7.000rpm Later it continues well.
??????

Mazda rx-7 fd,,,year 1995.
MOD..line of escape and filter

It could be many different causes.
It could be a worn out fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter.

I was recently getting a high power fuel cut, that was caused by a worn out air flow meter.
I drilled an access hole & cleaned the contacts and resistors on the inside position sensor circuit board.
That helped for a few weeks.
Then I started to get a high power miss-fire.
I cleaned the AFM circuit board again, and it only became worse.
A new AFM fixed it completely.
