Performance tips.

Hi there,
I own a 1991 Turbo-II in Europe. I killed my last engine and I'm building a new one! In my search for speed I did some modifications:

Street ported engine with 3mm apex seals
2 x 720cc secondairy injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Hybryd turbo upgrade
HKS front mount intercooler + airfilter
HKS BOV
APEXi AVC-R and S-AFC
Jacobs Rotary Pro Pak
RP main underdrive pulley
Racing Beat full race exhaust
Twin sequential electric cooling fans
Radiator upgrade
3 puck metal clutch

I want at least 350 hp! I want to run about 15 psi! But I don't want the engine to detonate at the first few high boost runs! What other modifications do I have to do to prevent detonation? Do I need some more fuel? Other computers for fuel and or timing? Anything else that's necessary to prevent detonation?

Thanks in advance!!
Giovanni

Do yo think I need more fuel with the current setup to prevent detonation? Maybe additional injectors? What can you advise me about the timing?

Do you know the rotary exhaust temperatures when using an EGT-meter, when running too rich or too lean? Hope you can help

There are a few internal motor modifications that help to make it more reliable. The racing beat catalog has all of this info in it, & I highly recommend picking one up.

or maybe 4 of 720cc would be enough for that.

You mean 4 x 720cc additional injectors? So I would need a controler, fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator!

What about the timing? Should I change that?

I think I should move to the USA! More RX-7 specialists and tuners. More RX-7's to buy. More and cheaper parts! And very important: much cheaper fuel!
