In over my head... lol.

hey,
guys i have a 1991 FC automatic. i have an A'pexi N1 catback exhaust on it. everything else (exhaust wise) is stock. i want to upgrade the rest of the exhaust system when i do a auto/manual swap, springs, etc at the same time. i have researched, looked, and gotten headaches from mazdatrix. i dont know if its the color of the font or what but i just cant seem to find what im looking for. i DO want to run Racing Beat headers. i just dont know which ones to get. also, the space between the headers and catback, i dont know what i should do. my friend said something about a presilencer (racing beat), but i dont have the y-pipe. i am still looking around, but if you have any info about this please post. thanks a lot.

I got a 13b 6port too. My fuel injection was failing and switched to a Mikuni 44 carb and it was the best thing I ever did . My exhaust is a RB hedder and then a RB presilencer then I got a Bonez raing hi-flo cat going to a 3" flex pipe to a apexi n1 muffler. Its about twice as fast as it was stock. If you want to keep the dual exhaust racing beat sells a ypipe for a turbo2 that will bolt right up to the RB presilencer

Not sure how made that work but anyway, Racing Beat is a great company, I have a header and presilencer from them and I love it! Just read the description to make sure you get the one that will bolt up to the stock Y pipe and you'll be fine. Not having the Y pipe is fine as long as the cat back connects to your cat in the stock location.

but at the end where the presilencer would bolt up to the y-pipe... its already coming to two smaller pipes. i dont think that would work. oh and the apexi's diameter piping is big. it looks like it wouldnt work. i onno.
