Ok so what is so special about SAMCO hoses?

I've seen those damn radiator hoses go as high as $175....

So what is so special about them? Why are they so damn expensive and how do they differ from the factory ones? Aren't hoses just hoses?

There nice colors! and thats about it.

The twin and triple renforced hoses are good but there is'nt a big diffrence it performance but the 6mm vacume hose it C**p!

I think the main reason people do tend to use it is due to the diameter of the boost hose as 2.5" and above is quite hard to get hold of in somthing like Viton.

I think silicone hoses are supposed to last longer than rubber hoses. Better heat tolerance. Won't dry and crack like rubber. Do I know this for a fact? Not really. I have silicone vacuum hoses and the samco radiator hoses. I just like to have that piece of mind.

I thought that Samco hoses were made out of Silkolene? I do know there is a little bit of a difference between silkolene, and silicon, don't remember though.
